The Lee’s Summit Planning Commission takes up a convenience store proposal at 2661 SE Blue Pkwy when it meets Thursday, July 9, at 5 p.m. in City Council Chambers.
KDP Hospitality, LLC is seeking preliminary development plan approval for the project, known as Blackwell Convenience Store. Priti Bhakta will present on behalf of the applicant; Senior Planner Hector Soto, Jr., AICP, is the city staff presenter. Approval would come through a temporary ordinance, TMP-3729, under the city’s Unified Development Ordinance.
No vote tally is available ahead of the hearing. The commission will also act on a consent item approving its June 25 action letter before moving to the public hearing.
